OUR CULTURE
The company has been founded on the basis of taking a fresh, critical approach to problems, and re-investigating them from first principles. A key part of this approach is our commitment to flexible working, technical innovation in the way we work, and a belief that our best work is done when we are able to work freely and creatively. We do not believe that things are impossible, nor do we assume that the way things have been done before is always the best. We believe that the right design process is integral and inseparable from delivering the right outcome for our clients.
OUR BUSINESS
Hope Architects is an architectural practice working on projects in the residential sector. We assist clients with residential developments of one unit and upwards. We offer a full architectural, urban design and development consultancy to private clients and developers. While we are committed to place-making, and believe strongly that creative, quality design makes great places, our specialty is a data-driven approach to residential development, and we work to efficiently develop land using analytical tools to assess site capacity and economics.
OUR WORK
Hope Architects is dedicated to high quality architecture, cutting edge urban design and sustainable residential development. We believe that development should be context led and site specific, and we feel strongly that new construction should be sensitive, respectful and work with its environment. Based in the Peak District National Park, we are constantly aware of the challenges and opportunities that our landscape presents. We believe that conservation, countryside and sustainability are not incompatible with new development, but are instead opportunities for better design and innovative solutions. We are committed to working with the existing built environment and natural landscape to meet housing need without sacrificing the qualities that make so many of our places so special.
