Planning approval, and our new studio
We’re delighted to report that Hope Architects and our client, Northstone, have gained approval for 239 houses on a site we’ve worked on with them at Trough Laithe, in Barrowford. While we’re working on a number of sites with Northstone, this is the first one to cross the line of a detailed planning approval, so we’re over the moon.
While Northstone are a new developer, they are committed to producing a quality product, and bringing something new to the house building market place. Hope Architects are providing them with architectural services at planning stage, and have worked alongside them to develop a great set of house types, that we can’t wait to see built.
In other news, despite COVID-19 making such things unfashionable, we have moved into new office space! The new space is in a converted mill building in Bradwell, in the heart of the Hope Valley, very close to the buildings and landscape that inspired our logo.
We’re now able to meet clients here (as long as they remain “1-metre plus” away) and show them how we work, and what we can bring to the table to help them gain permissions and build houses.
While our team has always worked remotely and collaborated electronically, we now have lots more space to work, and the ability to meet in the same room and work together if we wish.
We also have a fantastic new coffee machine, so please give us a call, arrange to visit and we’ll supply the caffeine!
